Some of Australia’s finest award winning vineyards are situated on Hobart’s very doorstep. Only a 10 minute scenic drive from the heart of the city and you are amongst the largest concentration of privately owned vineyards in Tasmania. This area having a similar latitude south to the famous wine regions of France and Germany.

During the tour you will have the chance to meet and talk with the vineyard owners and winemakers, whilst sampling some of their unique award winning wines.

Our professional local drivers will take you on comfortable and personal journey through fertile valleys and rolling hillsides, enabling you to take in this exciting new wine region of Australia.

Tours also offer the freedom to stroll through historic Richmond, renowned for its convict heritage and its arts and crafts. A town that boasts the oldest bridge and Catholic Church in Australia.

This tour would not be complete without its sumptuous gourmet luncheon of Tasmania’s finest fare at one of the many quality establishments in the Valley. So relax and enjoy what the Coal River Valley has to offer.

Prices range upwards from $49.50 (including GST) per person (approx.).

Tours depart mornings, afternoon and evenings during Summer (September to May) and mornings and afternoon in Winter (June to August). Private customised bookings welcome.
