Cosy, intimate and
romantic Georgian cottages
overlooking Australia’s oldest bridge
| Built in 1823 for the Sergeant who supervised the
building of the Richmoond bridge, the cottage
incorporated the town armoury and overlooks the bridge
and original village green. The cottage has been
tastefully restored and is now presented as conjoined one
bedroom cottages – "The Armoury" & "The
Sergeant’s Quarters". Both have lounge with open fire, kitchen/dining, sitting room, bathroom & laundry facilities. Bridge Cottages’ intimate and invitingly cosy rooms are perfect for the ideal romantic weekend. After a refreshing bath, relax in front of the open fire, sipping your complimentary port, while viewing Australia’s oldest bridge from the very rooms that housed its builders. |
