Richmond Colonial Accommodation is a collection of Georgian & Federation cottages which are located around the town of Richmond. Featuring Ashmore Cottage (c.1830), The Armoury & The Sergeant’s Quarters(c.1823), Poplar Cottage (c. 1840) and Willow Cottage (early 1900’s), our cottages are comfortably furnished with antique and cottage furniture, have open log fires or wood heaters complemented by electric heating, contain all mods & cons such as TV, video, CD, microwave, stove, iron, fridge, toaster, washing machine etc and have been thoughtfully restored and decorated to make your stay in the past warm and welcoming.

We can provide a romantic getaway in either The Armoury or The Sergeant’s Quarters which overlook the historic bridge or we can provide family accommodation in Poplar Cottage (2 bedrooms) or Ashmore and Willow Cottages which both have 3 bedrooms.

If you have any special needs we are more than happy to try and assist.

Our aim is to make your stay enjoyable and one that will be remembered long into the future.   

The cottages are smoke free and we provide hearty continental breakfast provisions – fruit, bread, milk, juice, cereals, tea, coffee plus complimentary port & chocolates.
