Turn the Key of Time”

– is an informative, experiential, multi-sensory performance. An innovative, unique, 35 minute entertaining theatre piece and 10 minute tour of the workers’ cottage depicting the history of the occupants of the heritage listed building from 1804 to the present day, about a Cottage, a Key and a Convict. Solve the mystery of Grannie’s legend when you experience extraordinary true stories from Tasmania’s past.

Miriam Cooper wrote, produced and “exquisitely” acts the performance. Her background is in professional drama, (London trained) and in teaching from which she retired in 2005.

Turn the Key of Time is suitable for all ages from nineteen
months to ninety nine years. $15.00 adults Group concessions
$5.00 children
Performance times:

Sat, Sun & Mon; 3pm and 6pm
Wed. to Fri; 12noon, 3pm & 6pm
Other times & large tour groups by arrangement

Off street parking on site.
Children under 12, must be accompanied by an adult. Birthday parties can be arranged; Schools /Colleges, all grades.
Special arrangements can be made for “The best history lesson ever!”

St John’s Roman Catholic Church (1837) and Burial. This is the oldest Roman Catholic Church still in use in Australia. The church has had three spires. The present one was raised in 1972.
